Do you know what’s truly best, when you are a distinguished F1 photographer: the long seasonal break, of course – and the ability to escape to warmer climes too – as Peter, our friend and Danish Ambassador has just done. Having enjoyed the second-to-none Argentinean welcome last year, Peter – being generous to a fault – decided to give back by contributing some of his extensive photo collection (being an avid collector and having attended over 700 GP will do that) to a unique exhibition to be held – where else – in the Fangio Museum in Balcarce, the legend’s hometown (but you, of course, knew that already).
It’s not all – of course not – first, Tina and Peter took a cruise down South (how’s that for a classic case of “two (love)birds with one stone) – you know, where only Argentina goes – and where also the stars of the ship (to the point where their flag had to be hoisted as well – how about that?!!).
Best of all, and showing -as if it was necessary – that you cannot outdo an Argentine welcome – Peter was elected as an honorary counsel of the Museum… what are they going to come up with is everyone’s question, but we must admit that we are prepared for anything – with friends like these…
Enjoy the photos of it all – who knows, if you pay close attention, you might even spot a “Suixtil moment” or two – at life speed (and it’s only fitting as well…)
